The eastern sky, also from the top of the Pa, just as the sun began to rise from the sea. Our friend Skip, a Kiwi whom we met on the Internet, offered the following: "In your sunrise photos you can see Castle Rock (or Island) in the foreground and the Court of Aldermen is the island group in the background. These were named so by Capt James Cook (arguably the world's greatest explorer) on his voyage of discovery in 1769." | |
